Please be extra vigilant while remote working through VPN, AnyDesk or TeamViewer and specifically watch out for phishing emails related to COVID-19.

Criminals are exploiting the portals used by workers accessing company systems while remote working by targeting individuals and companies with phishing lures promising useful information and/or fictitious ‘safety measures’ about COVID-19. The phishing emails use branding associated with trusted sources, such as local health agencies, the World Health Organisation and other government organisations.

In the past few months, the coronavirus has gone from a health problem to a pandemic that has impacted almost half of the world population. Most of the businesses, schools, colleges, and educational institutions are asking their employees and students to work and study from home. Many companies are responding efficiently o the health risks of the CoronaVirus by making clear that the welfare and health are of utmost importance.
